Cincinnati Leaders

Recommend Ashire

"Elliot Grossman Is The Consummate Professional

Who Delivers What He Promises."

Elliot and Ashire Communications were hired to assist Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati in our public relations, marketing, and communications for our 200th anniversary year. Elliot and his team were excellent partners, taking a personal interest in our organization and the year of events and volunteer engagement opportunities that we offered. Ashire helped place Jewish Cemeteries in the public eye, securing radio and print news interviews and articles, producing marketing materials and program booklets for major events. Part of our year of successes was undoubtedly due to Elliot and Ashire.
David Harris, Executive Director, Jewish Cemeteries of Greater Cincinnati
Thanks to Ashire Communications, Cincinnati Area Senior Services now has an amazing website. It conveys our compassion and commitment for seniors better than any website we've had in the past.
Tracey Collins, Former CEO, Cincinnati Area Senior Services
I'm pleased with the assistance that Ashire Communications provided on our recent communications audit, both in terms of quality of information and the depth of analysis offered. Their 'deep dive' went beyond simple channels of communication to include facets of community perception and engagement. Their conclusions were thought-provoking and their recommendations were comprehensive yet actionable. In addition to the audit, Ashire provided hands-on communication services and aided in our effort to hire a communications professional. Overall, Elliot's directness, insight and encouragement have been extremely beneficial to our district and in helping us better define and pursue our communication goals.
John Hamstra, Superintendent, Southwest Local School District, Harrison, Ohio
I have had the privilege to partner with Elliot Grossman and Ashire Communications for three years in my executive role at The Children's Home.  I have always been impressed by his attention to detail, creativity and willingness to dive into even the most abstract project.  It is comforting for me to have a partner in Ashire as I am always confident that the end-outcome will be phenomenal.
Roderick Hinton, Chief Administrative Officer, The Children's Home of Cincinnati
Elliot Grossman provided incredible expertise to my team by helping us gain national-level visibility on a highly technical topic that had a very tight timeline. Elliot was able to come up to speed incredibly quickly and immediately identify the right vehicles for us to pursue to increase the awareness of the work we were about to begin. Elliot's connections in the world of radio and television are deep, and his experience in navigating the system can help any organization increase their brand awareness. Elliot was also invaluable in helping my team to communicate a complex subject area in a way that could be understood and valued by a lay audience. I highly recommend Elliot.
Marla Phillips, PhD, Director, Xavier Health
Elliot Grossman took the complex challenge of communicating major school cafeteria menu changes and effectively crafted the message and talking points, and ultimately designed a successful media strategy. He thinks visually, analytically and most important, creatively. His news release was interesting, timely and data driven, which is why every major news outlet picked up the story. Elliot was very effective, professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.
Chris Burkhardt, Former Director, Child Nutrition
Lakota Local School District, Butler County, Ohio
Elliot truly cares about his clients. He brings thoughtful strategy and careful execution to each and every project. I've worked with him on several large endeavors, for both print and interactive applications, and the final product has exceeded expectations each and every time.

I can highly recommend Elliot Grossman and Ashire Communications for nonprofits needing help with publicity. As co-chair of the recent ADA 25th Cincinnati Celebration, we hired Elliot to assist us to increase awareness of the Americans with Disabilities Act and our event. Though our budget was limited, Elliot was able to get us radio, television and press coverage far greater than any we've been able to generate on our own in the past. He is great to work with and understands nonprofits.
Kat Lyons, Co-Chair, Cincinnati ADA 25th Anniversary Celebration
Advocacy Coordinator, Center for Independent Living Options, Cincinnati
Without Elliot Grossman’s public relations efforts, the first phase of the Xavier Launch-a-Business   Competition would not have been so successful. Elliot has the ability to coordinate multiple avenues while at the same time focusing on important details. He has great listening skills and a keen ability to ask the questions that need to be asked, to open up discussions that lead to the best solution. And Elliot has the ability to work smoothly with anyone – from our dean to our administrative assistants to our technical support staff.
Joseph Carter, Former Director, X-LAB; Former Visiting Professor, Management & Entrepreneurship, Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio

Over the past 20 months, Three Rivers Local Schools has completed five separate audits of different departments in our school district. All took a deep dive into the work we do. Our senior staff, Board of Education, and community, however, have paid the most attention to the findings of our communications audit performed by Ashire Communications.  We immediately started implementing some recommendations. Above all, the recommendations were very specific and pointed out several quick fixes as well as some long-range solutions.  Our team was very impressed, and the audit has become part of a living document we are using daily.
Craig Hockenberry, Former Superintendent, Three Rivers Local School District
Cleves, Ohio; Superintendent, Poland Local Schools, Poland, Ohio
I had the pleasure of working with Elliot when he handled all of the public relations for the very large Lakota School District. Elliot is the consummate professional who delivers what he promises. He is a joy to work with and handles tough PR situations with grace and ease. I sincerely hope to work with Elliot again in the future.
Alison Miuccio, Former Marketing Director

On behalf of the 10,000 children we help each year at KidsPeace, thank you for your invaluable help in spreading the message about our " Think Big!"  foster care campaign to millions of Americans. Your work will mean less suffering and more comfort for kids who have waited too long for love.  I am personally honored to know you and am so happy we got to work together. Super job.

In a very short period of time, Elliot Grossman was able to get Cedar Village Retirement Community incredible press coverage locally, nationally and internationally. Cedar Village took to Israel nine residents, whose average age was 85. They had Bar and Bat Mitzvahs in Jerusalem at the Western Wall. The day of the B'nai Mitzvahs, there were eight members of the Israeli press who travelled with us on the bus from the hotel to the ceremony. Thanks to Elliot's expertise, the Cedar Village B'nai Mitzvah Mission participants became media stars in Israel.
Sally F. Korkin, Retired Director, Community Relations & Outreach
Cedar Village Retirement Community, Mason, Ohio

Over the past year I have worked with Elliot on a public relations project involving the Cincinnati Public Schools. He has been a key part of a group seeking to bring important news regarding the school district to the local community. I have found his ability to plan, ask the questions that no one has thought of and ability to see information in the eyes of those receiving it extraordinary. He also has the ability to write things in a way that are concise and easy to understand.
Kent Friel, Former Chair, Cincinnatus Association Education Panel
I worked with Elliot Grossman when he served as Lakota’s interim director of communications and community relations. I found Elliot’s approach to dealing with the news media to be refreshing because he believes in being candid and upfront with reporters -- providing information to them even before they ask for it -- which served our school district well. I also found him knowledgeable and responsible, with an extremely strong work ethic. An additional strength is his many connections with key leaders in Greater Cincinnati.
Ron Spurlock, Assistant Superintendent, Lakota Local School District
Butler County, Ohio
Elliot understands the uncommon, particular marketing communication needs of nonprofits. He is up to speed on the latest and most effective business marketing strategies and tactics, and he makes them available to even the smallest nonprofit. I'm convinced my organization received individual attention without sacrificing the expertise and experience usually provided by large, over-the-top, pricey agencies. Elliot combines the small touch with a high level of marketing knowledge, skills, and experience.
John Mangan, Board Chair, Mill Creek Alliance, Cincinnati, Ohio
Elliot Grossman offered to help me as soon as I joined the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati to promote a major project: the Jewish Cincinnati Bicentennial. He was able to connect me with the most knowledgeable people for a variety of interviews, speeches, and articles. Elliot is the honest, no-nonsense person you want at the table to tell you exactly what your investment in time and resources will get you. He also was a fantastic cheerleader for the Bicentennial from day one and instrumental in getting widespread publicity. He has a wealth of experience that shows in everything he does and forms plans and projects around that experience. A true professional.
